WHY CHOOSE TO USE A NUTRITIONAL DIET PLAN AND THE BENIFITS
Nutritional therapy is a comprehensive approach to health care that utilizes food, supplements, and lifestyle modifications to enhance health and well-being. It relies on evidence-based nutritional science and is tailored to the unique needs and objectives of each individual.
The goal of nutritional therapy is to tackle the root causes of poor health, instead of merely treating the symptoms.
What does a Nutritional Therapist do?
Nutritional Therapists adopt a personalized, holistic approach to health and wellness, aiming to understand the root cause of symptoms by evaluating potential nutritional imbalances.
Each individual is unique, with a variety of different issues. As such, there is no one-size-fits-all diet that suits everyone. Consequently, your plan is customized just for you.
I may also suggest incorporating additional therapies into your treatment to help overcome any past barriers or challenges and to support the establishment of healthy habits.
This can be discussed during your consultation to ensure the best-customized package for you.
A Nutritional Therapist can provide support whether you're dealing with minor health issues, seeking assistance with chronic conditions, or aiming to safeguard your future health.
It's crucial to understand that nutritional therapy does not claim to treat, diagnose, or cure medical conditions, but proper nutrition is vital in supporting your health in conjunction with your doctor and other healthcare professionals.
Nutritional Therapy can address a variety of conditions, including but not limited to:
- Hormonal imbalances associated with perimenopause or menopause
- Persistent fatigue
- Challenges with weight management
- IBS and digestive problems
- Stress and anxiety
- Sleep difficulties
- Headaches and migraines
- Food intolerances
- Pre-diabetes, high blood pressure
- Aches and pains
- Mood fluctuations
- Brain fog and concentration issues
- Overall well-being
Why not concentrate on enhancing your well-being with a straightforward and effective nutrition and lifestyle plan?
You will need to complete a consultation form before your visit, which is available here. You can detail your current diet in a written document and upload it to the consultation form.
Typically, a session will last around 90 minutes for your 1st session and 30 minute follow up appointments..
Nutritional Therapy sessions can be conducted in person, via email, or through Zoom.
Please refrain from scheduling an in-person appointment if you have any contagious or infectious diseases, as they could be transmitted to other clients visiting the practice. These conditions include fever, diarrhoea, intoxication from recreational drugs or alcohol, and vomiting.
